Show Us Your Bikes

We need your help. I (Uli) need pictures for a presentation that will, among other things, highlight the different bikes we have in Dayton.
Many people think that cyclists are either out on $1000 plus road bikes or terrible quality mountain bikes. Of course those bikes are part of Dayton, but so are many others.
Send us your pictures, either on Facebook (post them on our wall or send us a message) or via e-mail at courteousmassdayton@yahoo.com.
Pictures of road- and mountain bikes in all conditions are just as welcome as any other pics. It’s about being inclusive and diverse.

Thank you all in advance!

New Year, New Ride

Hello Everybody,
Just a short post, January 3rd will be the first ride of 2014. We are using the same route from the cancelled glow ride, which, by the way, is rescheduled for March, so keep your flashy blinky lights at hand.
The Facebook event can be found here.
As always, we meet at the Fifth Third Field and leave at 5:30pm.

December Ride – Let It Glow

Visibility is everything, especially in winter months. Let’s deck out our bikes with lights, but not just your regular bike lights. Bring what you can find to light up your bike:
– glow bracelets
– bike glow
– portable holiday lights
– spoke, valve, and rim lights
Let your creativity flow.
Ryan Cappo, who is shooting a video about cycling in the Miami Valley (you might have seen the call for cyclists on our Facebook page before), will be there to capture the whole thing. Make it count 😀 Of course you are welcome either way, even if you don’t have a chance to go crazy.
One ride only, during winter, we leave at 5:30pm. If you are running late and want us to wait for you, feel free to call or text 937-212 9150
Freezing temperatures won’t stop us, but black ice will.
And here is the route.
RSVP to the Facebook event to stay posted.
